It’s All About Education

Staying organized is huge to reducing stress. We make sure that our teachers are up-to-date with your child’s planner or calender to mark down all due dates. Our teachers make sure studenst get organized and learn to make note of their tests / assignment / quizzes.

Our tutors are the teachers of Ontario Teachers College (OCT) who have the desire and will to help students succeed in life. They are expert in their teachable subjects and have training on how to make the understanding of their subject material easy for the student.

We teachers believe more in practical learning where we can give our students the insight into scientific method and develop expertise in using it. Our objective is to develop ‘scientific attitudes’, such as open-mindedness and objectivity.

We want parents to sit down with their family enjoying dinner time, not stressing about homework or tests and assignments. Your children will be more focused and organized once they start working with our teachers.

Assessment For, As and Of LearningThe primary purpose of assessment is to improve student learning.

Assessment For Learning:

Tutors are seeking and interpreting evidence for use by students and their teachers to decide where the students are in their learning, where they need to go and how best to get there.

Assessment As Learning:

Tutors focus on explicit fostering of student’s capacity over time to be their own best assessors. Teachers start by presenting and modelling external, structured opportunities for students to assess themselves.

Assessment Of Learning:

Teachers assess the performance of students, how well students are learning. This summary is used to mate judgement about the quality of student learning on the basis of the Ontario Curriculum. The performance level and results of students are discussed with parents.
